**Job Title: Automotive AP/AR Clerk**

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive AP/AR Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable and receivable functions within our automotive business. **Key Responsibilities:**

- Accurately process and maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
- Verify and reconcile invoices, bills, and statements with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure timely payments of invoices and follow up with vendors regarding discrepancies when necessary.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, and reconcile financial statements.
- Manage customer billing, collections, and deposits to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and contribute to preparing financial reports.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve any accounting discrepancies and issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service to vendors, clients, and internal team members.
- Support and adhere to company policies and financial regulations.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
